Immaculata Star Gazers Booster Club is holding its second annual family portrait fundraiser!

Just in time for the holidays you have the opportunity to make lasting memories by having a professional family portrait created.

Paul Vincent Photography is sponsoring this event.  Not only will you get wonderful family portraits but the athletic department will also receive 20% of all proceeds!

At Paul Vincent Photography, we want to provide an opportunity for you and your family to have a portrait that captures the moments that are irreplaceable in your children’s lives.  They grow and change so fast, and capturing that moment now will make those memories last forever.

We strive to keep our prices affordable for the whole community.  We want people to see us for the quality and care we put into our photography without breaking the bank!  Our packages for this fundraiser have been discounted to make it even more affordable for you.  We have packages to fit all budgets and we want you to enjoy the experience!  Don’t forget…20% of all proceeds will go to the Immaculata Athletic Department!  Sports are going well this year at Immaculata and it is becoming such a great opportunity for your children.  We want the enthusiasm to continue and it can only continue with your support!

This fundraiser will take place on two Saturdays. The first Saturday will be at our studio on Upward Road.  Please call for directions, 698-3272.  The second Saturday will be on location at Lake Lure!

Registration and sign-ups will begin September 22 and go on through October 8th.  Make your appointments now before they fill up!

Our standard sitting fee is $50, but will be reduced to $25 per family for this fundraiser.

The required pre-registration through our studio and the reduced sitting fee will guarantee your studio time with us.  This simply locks in your scheduled time so there will be no chance of scheduling anyone else for that time.

All appointments are to be made through Paul Vincent Photography.  Please call us at 698-3272 to discuss what time best suits your needs.  We will book your appointment and answer any other questions you may have.

We are offering two different styles of photos from which to choose:

In-studio, “Life Portraits” or Outdoor scenic portraits at Lake Lure.

If you wish to do both, you will pay two sitting fees, the second being discounted. The cost will be $45 for both and you will need two outfits. It will require one appointment each on the dates stated above.

Clothing recommendations, styles and prices are outlined on the following sheets.

We strongly recommend that you follow the clothing guidelines to ensure the best possible family portrait and you will be happy with the final result.

Clothing Guidelines

In-studio, “Life Portraits,” color photos:

·        Wear dark clothing, preferably black, that covers arms and legs. 

·        Jeans are also fine with a dark shirt.

·        When you are looking at a portrait, your eye is immediately drawn to the lighter areas.  In this case, it would be your faces, which is where you want the viewer to look.  If you have light arms and hands showing amongst all of the black clothing, it will detract from the faces and become visually confusing for the viewer.  This is why long sleeve dark clothing works the best.

·        Long sleeve dark dresses are on option for women and young girls if you do not have dark pants.

·        Coordinate between each other.

Outdoor scenic portraits at Lake Lure, color photos:

·        Coordinate between each other.

·        Almost anything goes!

·        Khaki pants with long sleeve white button up shirts.

·        Khaki pants with long sleeve blue jean shirts.

·        Blue jeans with white shirts.

·        White sundresses for women and girls and khaki pants with short sleeve white polo for men and boys.

·        This scene is not as crucial to having all long sleeves, however, keep in mind that the more flesh that shows, the more it takes the viewers eye away from the faces.

·        In making your selections, keep all color tones similar to one another.
