Julie and Paul Vincent Wojcik are a husband and wife team. They have been living in Hendersonville since 2006 with their daughter Brooklynn.
Paul and Julie opened their business in the spring of 2006 shortly after moving to Hendersonville. Their love of art and photography led them to open a studio that would cater to the needs of such a beautiful and art filled community. The style and quality of work Paul Vincent Photography provides goes far beyond a small picture for an album, but lends itself to timeless family wall portraits that become heirlooms to be passed from one generation to the next.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Paul found a passion for photography at a young age. Paul
’s first camera was a 99-cent medium format camera his grandmother bought for him when he was seven years old. This sparked an interest as he photographed a variety of things growing up. In high school his father purchased a darkroom for the family. Paul’s interest in the technical side of photography grew as he spent many hours in this darkroom. Paul went on to college and graduated from Randolph Technical College with an A.A.S. degree in Photographic Technology. He has also received a B.S. degree from the University of South Carolina. Paul went on to be the co-founder and Corporate Vice President of Spartanburg Photographic Center, Upstate South Carolina’s leading photographic supply store and custom photography lab.Julie, too, had an interest in photography early on. A native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, she spent years watching her stepfather who always had a camera in his hand. Before long, she was asking to use it, taking pictures of nature and life around her. After receiving her first 35 mm camera, you rarely saw her without it. After high school, Julie was hired at Spartanburg Photographic Center, where she worked both selling cameras and primarily as a lab technician. While working, she attended Converse College and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with an emphasis in painting, her first passion. This passion carries through to her work at Paul Vincent Photography. Photography is art. Julie is able to offer a side of creativity that is unique to the photography industry and can be passed on to many families.
Paul and Julie take great pride in their work. The combination of technical ability and creative touches lends itself to the perfect team for family photography. Photography is not just the artwork itself, but the experience as well. They try to make every session personal and exciting so that the client takes with them an experience that is pleasant and memorable. The artwork that leaves their studio has the personal touch of Paul and Julie from the moment of capture to the moment it is hung on the wall.
